Fascadail offers superb Bed and Breakfast accommodation within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Visitors to Loch Lomond choose Arrochar for its stunning views and central location. The thriving village of Arrochar nestles on the shores of Loch Long with the majestic Arrochar Alps in the background yet only 40 minutes from Glasgow.
Fascadail House was built in the mid 19th century around 170 years ago. It is set in its own grounds, enjoying superb loch and mountain views, including the craggy Ben Arthur (The Cobbler). To try and help maintain this wonderful environment we are part of the Green Tourism Business scheme. We recycle as much as possible and use recycled products. Whenever possible we purchase from local producers and try to plan our car usage. The garden is wildlife friendly and we grow our own vegetables, fruit and flowers.
Steeped in history with many walks and hill climbs close by: Glen
Douglas, Ben Arthur and miles of forest trails through the scenic
Arrochar Alps, with Inveraray, Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne just a short
drive away. Fascadail is a
perfect base for touring, cycling, walking, climbing, golf and sight
seeing including visits to National Trust gardens.
